1974-75 Spirits of St. Louis Worn Warm-Up Jacket with Pants Attributed to Gene Moore

Inside the front snaps is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jacket size “42”. Attached is a white label with “4” LONGER”. Adjacent are “54” and “12” hand written in black marker. Gene Moore wore number “54” with the Spirits during the 1974-75 and Don Chaney wore number “12” in 1975-76, the following season when the jacket was recycled. Across the back is “Spirits of St. Louis” beautifully done in large silver sparkle on black tackle twill. Inside the waistband of the grey pants is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “38”. Adjacent is a white label with “35” INSEAM”. Several numbers have been written in black marker and crossed out. The jacket and pants are properly tagged, were presented to us as worn and in our opinion, show wear.
