Circa 1969 Ron Franz New Orleans Bucs ABA Game-Used Shorts & Worn Shooting Shirt

On the inside back collar is the “RAWLINGS” size 44 manufacturers tag. The player number “11” is written on this tag in black marker. Next to this is an unreadable tag. On the front left side is the team name “BUCS” in white tackle twill. The shorts and shooting shirt show wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind.

Notes: Franz was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 33rd pick of the 1967 NBA Draft, but he never played for them. He instead spent six seasons in the American Basketball Association, playing for the Oakland Oaks, the New Orleans Buccaneers, The Floridians, the Memphis Tams, and the Dallas Chaparrals. He averaged 11.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game over the course of his career.
